Primary PE and Sport Premium is an initiative that aims to help increase and improve the PE and sporting opportunities for children. It was first provided in the 2013/14 academic year.
PE and Sport Premium funding is provided jointly by the Department for Education, the Department for Health and Culture and the Department for Media and Sport. As recommend by the Department for Education, we have reflected on the impact of our current provision and reviewed the previous spend. We are required to publish details of how we spent this funding as well as on the impact it has had on pupils’ PE and sport participation and attainment by the end of the summer term or by 31st July at the latest.
