How Do We Work?

The Governing Body - How do we work?

The full Governing Body (FGB) meets three times a term.  Key topics, such as the progress of the School Development Plan and standards of attainment and achievement, are discussed at all Governing Body meetings and Mrs Jenkins writes a termly report on the work of the school including curriculum developments and teaching and learning. Other members of staff are invited to brief Governors on new developments and initiatives.

In addition, Working Groups exist to cover specific areas such as school improvement planning, review of the Self Evaluation Form (for OFSTED), Headteacher review and extended services. Short-term groups, both past and present, have also focused on office review and communications.

The Chair of Governors, Mr Nick Payne, can be contacted via the school or via our Clerk, clerk@cranbourneprimary.com
