We are very fortunate to have an enthusiastic and hard working school council made up of 2 children from each year group.  The school council are fundamental to school life at Cranbourne and we are always thankful for their efforts. 

Both the PTA and the School Council’s drive and focus for fundraising was to purchase new playground equipment for the children to enjoy. Due to the amazing fundraising efforts that our PTA and School Council have organised and that you have contributed to, new all-weather playground structures have been erected as an extension of our existing playground. This project took many months and some £13,500 to organise and fund which went towards a new climbing and activity tower and a new wooden trawler boat with allweather ground surfacing in place to maximise playtime usage throughout the year. 

 
The school councillors also worked hard to raise money towards a new wooden train and carriages, with further all weather ground-works being provided. This project alone was in the region of £10,000. The school councillors have lots of exciting projects planned for this academic year, which I’m sure they will be sharing with you in the coming weeks. We are a small school and we truly appreciate the effort and the generosity our parents provide through such fundraising events organised by our PTA and School Council and we hope that you continue to support the children and their enjoyment and learning whilst here at Cranbourne.
