I am delighted to have this opportunity to introduce you to the website of our unique primary school where our goal is to inspire everyone to achieve their very best .

Above all else Cranbourne is a happy school. You will find a welcoming atmosphere continuing to permeate school life as we enter our fourth century. At our most recent OFSTED inspection in November 2018,  the school received an OUTSTANDING grading in all areas, the inspectors praised the school’s  standards which are above average, the quality of teaching is very effective and is strong across the school and also challenges the pupils. Importantly, Ofsted also said that the school is happy and calm with good behaviour and the pupils feel safe.  

We provide high standards of learning within a rich and varied school curriculum. Our rural setting enables our children to enjoy learning outside the classroom, whilst our committed staff and active parent community support a range of activities and visits.   We value the support of our active Parent Teacher Association, a group of parents who work very hard to raise extra funding for our pupils to enjoy additional opportunities. Although our traditions are never far from the surface an ongoing programme of improvements shows our school looking forward as well as back.
