THE NEW NATIONAL CURRICULUM - A GUIDE FOR PARENTS

A Broad and Balanced Curriculum

During the primary years children first discover many of the interests that lead them to enjoy fulfilling lives. To support this we provide a broad and balanced curriculum that harnesses the natural enthusiasm, creativity and inquisitiveness of children whilst introducing disciplines they will study in more depth at secondary age. To support our children's learning we use:

Letters and Sounds phonics programme produced by the DfE.
Oxford Reading Tree scheme of books.
Numicon Maths scheme.

Please see the tabs on the left for more information on these schemes and other information about the curriculum provision at Cranbourne.
